📚Quote: "Your job is not just to build what customers ask for. It's about deciphering their true needs."
🌟 Examples: Henry Ford: "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." Steve Jobs "A lot of times, people don't know what they want until you show it to them."
💡Benefit: Ford brought efficient transportation to the masses, Apple reinvented what a phone could be.
Closer to home, drawing from my time at FIBR: our broker customers told us they wanted a dedicated portal to manage loan applications and monitor updates. Technically this was tricky for us and we fundamentally believed we could deliver a better customer experience with a distinct flow. After digging deeper we realised the true need: easier ways to submit customer data, more timely updates and simple application tracking. We re-invented our journey, saved a heap of inbound emails (and ops time) and got more end users thanks to happier broker customers.
